IoT Sensors

IoT sensors are small devices that collect data from the world around them and share it with you. They can measure location, temperature, humidity, movement, and more. When connected in a network, they give you a live picture of what is happening in places you cannot always be.

IoT Sensors

Our current focus is on Meshtastic devices - compact GPS trackers that form mesh networks and work without cell coverage. These devices share positions, relay text messages, and transmit sensor readings across distances that a single radio could not cover on its own. Every device we sell is Giteki-certified for legal use in Japan and arrives pre-configured.

Beyond GPS tracking, Meshtastic devices can also send environmental telemetry like temperature, humidity, and battery levels. This makes them useful not just for people tracking, but for monitoring conditions at remote locations.

What IoT sensors can do for you:

  • Share GPS positions across your team in real time, even without phone signal
  • Monitor environmental conditions at remote sites
  • Relay data across difficult terrain through mesh networking
  • Run for days on small batteries, making them practical for unattended installations
  • Feed data into Karida Cloud for centralized monitoring and history

What we are working on next:

We are developing sensors that go beyond GPS tracking. Trap sensors for hunting that notify you when a trap is triggered. Fence sensors for farmers. Water level sensors for rice fields. These are low-cost, practical tools designed for the people who actually work the land, and they integrate into the same Meshtastic mesh network.

If you have a sensor use case you would like to explore, let us know. We are always interested in hearing what would be useful in the field.
